Reflections was the nightly epilogue broadcast on Grampian Television, it ran from 1977 until 1998.Reflections predecessor was Evening Prayers which ran between 1961 and 1977.
Reflections was usually scheduled on weekday nights following News at Ten or before the North Headlines and closedown. At weekends there were no late North Headlines and Reflections was scheduled just before closedown or after the ITN News.
In 1988 the local news was rebranded as Grampian Headlines and there was a pause Reflections following the late Grampian Headlines bulletin which was now scheduled after News at Ten. At weekends Reflections was usually scheduled after the ITN News and before Night Time.
In the late 1970’s and 1980’s Grampian started the day with First Thing after the continuity announcer opened up the station and before programmes for schools and colleges. First Thing was replaced in the 1990’s by am.
