Following the corporate ITV rebrand in 1989 Grampian did take some of the ITV branded promos as well as the ITV Corporate Ident which was used to link to ITN News bulletins and North Tonight. The promos were produced and voiced at the Network Promotions Unit at ITV studios on The South Bank in London.

For a brief period in 1996 Border Television in Carlisle were producing these Promos for Grampian The promos were voiced by Border Continuity Announcers.
